Version 1.0 Final Additions
===========================

Scenario Generator
------------------

1. A VISIBLE button has been added to the map screen. This "greys"
out ships which are not visible by any ship on the current side.

2. Sunrise and Sunset times have been added to the Environment screen.

3. Holding down ALT key while clicking on a friendly ship will set
the current ship's course and speed to match the clicked ship.

4. If you wish to give a scenario you created to another person:
	a) Get a blank formatted disk and insert it into one of your
floppy disk drives (A: or B:).

	b) Change the drive to the Game directory.

	c) Type COPY SAVE\{Filename}.SCN {A: or B:} then Enter.
Note: the {Filename} is the name that you gave your
	   scenario.
i.e. Copying the scenario called "JUMBO" to the A drive:
		COPY SAVE\JUMBO.SCN A:

	d) After the light goes out on the disk drive, remove the
	   disk.

	e) Take the disk to your friend's machine and put it into one
of his floppy disk drives (A: or B:).

	f) Change the drive to the game directory.

	g) Type COPY {A: or B:}{Filename}.SCN SAVE then Enter.
i.e. Copying "JUMBO" from the B drive:
		COPY B:JUMBO.SCN SAVE

	h) Run the Scenario Player and select "JUMBO" from the Custom
	   Scenario menu.

Scenario Player
---------------

1. Type "GNBSP386" instead of "GNBSP" to avoid the opening animation
sequence.

2. A battle ends if no shots are fired for 15 minutes. - This also
applies to normal scenarios.

Captain's Campaign
------------------

1. The player gets extra DDs in first 4 battles.

2. Ships sunk during the game will be rebuilt accoring to the
following schedule (number of days):

		Enemy Friendly
		----- --------
	DD 30 60
	CA 90 180
	BB 180 365

Enemy ships may sometimes be completed ahead of schedule in order
to complete the required ships for a particular battle.

3. If the players side has no available CAs or BBs he will be
retired. This makes the game significantly more difficult for the
German Player (and more historically accurate) who must work hard to
keep a fleet in being.

4. Scoring system:

The player is awarded points only for battles he wins or draws. The
point difference between the two sides is divided by the ratio
between the two sides. However, the ratio will never be less than 50
percent or greater than 150 percent. This reduces the points the
player receives if he has a more powerful force than the computer and
increases the points if he is fighting at a disadvantage. Players
will receive points for any friendly merchant ships that survive a
battle.

5. Medals:

Medals are based on the total points accumulated in a single
battle. Medals are also incremental. If you would have won a
duplicate medal you accumulate points towards the next medal.

British German Points needed
------- ------ -------------

Victoria Cross Knights Cross 16000

6. Promotions:

Promotions will only be awarded after battles in which the player
does not lose, it is possible to qualify for two promotion from a
single highly successful battle.

100 percent and is reduced by 10 percent with each increase in rank
(The captain is more likely to go down with the ship.)
